Get into the various water-based activities; book a whale watching tour and swim with the whales, cruise the canals, take a jet-boat ride or snorkel around any of the rocky coastal areas. You never know what crayfish might be hiding in the rocks. Go scuba diving off the artificial reef on the HMAS Brisbane.
